Tuesday July 26th
Last weekend I got married!!! I can't believe it! It was a wonderful day! Now we are counting the weeks until our baby daughter arrives. Thank you to all of the Italian fans who have bought CDs on the website - the profits are going straight to our diaper fund! I will be back in 4-5 weeks after our daughter arrives. June 16 2005 - I have just moved to Germany! (closer to Italy than the US!) I am here enjoying my time off. Europe is so beautiful! I can't believe I am getting married in one month and having a baby in 3 months. WOW! I will keep you posted on all of the events. Have a great summer! Love, k

Hello everyone! As you may have read on the official Matson Belle website - my fiance and I found out we are having a baby!! This is the most exciting moment of my life! Last Friday we found out we are having a little baby girl. I have about 4 1/2 more months to go. Stay posted for news and pictures of my big fat belly! Bye for now. Love, Kayt

The night before Kayt moved to Prague, The Disciples of Groove handed her a remix they did of "Shampoo on my Pillow". It was so amazingly cool The Disciples of Groove are now working on an entire CD of Matson Belle remixes!! Stay tuned.

Matson Belle just placed their song "Splendid" on the DVD release of hit television show "Party of Five" (Episode 210). It will be released later this year.

Matson Belle has been invited to perform at SXSW Music Festival this year! They will play at Cedar Street - one of the best venues in Austin. Time slot is 12:30am. Cedar Street is located on 4th Street just east of Lavaca. No wristband needed to attend. Only a small cover charge at the door will apply. Come root Matson Belle on at the biggest music festival of the year!

Katy is a member of the Division 1 Austin Women's Soccer Team and her team finished 1st place in 2003 and will attend the Texas State Cup in February!

Sunday October 12th Katy and Omar will be performing live on the Austin Music Network at 7pm for their special showcase "In the Round" hosted by the Austin Songwriters Group.
Matson Belle is currently in the studio recording their new songs "Shampoo On My Pillow", "Mother Tongue", "Before I Go", "Ashmael" and "Drunk Love". Their new CD is due out in early 2004.

Michele J. Hale, a fiction novelist (and huge Matson Belle fan) is about to release her eleventh novel titled "Eleven". In this novel she mentions Matson Belle several times.
